PHILADELPHIA, PA – June, 2021 – Allen & Gerritsen (A&G), an independent, creative-led advertising agency in Boston and Philadelphia, announces its partnership with the Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County (RADC), a consortium of businesses and non-profit groups working together to implement physical, economic and social programs to stimulate the development of the Delaware County waterfront and the adjoining city of Chester, Pennsylvania.
By offering pro bono public and media relations support, A&G will build on its 2020 partnership with RADC to further position and solidify the organization as a regional, as well as national, leader in economic and social development. A&G will work with the organization to promote local priority programs and initiatives, identify thought leadership opportunities and provide advice and consultation on social media and public speaking engagements.
“We are delighted to work with A&G, as their support allows us to communicate important elements of our work in a way that we simply wouldn’t have had the capacity to do before. Their knowledge of the local and national media landscape has played an instrumental role in generating greater awareness and interest in the work we’re doing on the waterfront, and throughout Chester,” said Lisa Gaffney, RADC executive director.
Established in 1996, RADC’s goal is to lead transformative work that improves public safety, increases access to employment opportunities, enhances housing accessibility and contributes to the regional economy of the Delaware County waterfront and surrounding community. RADC’s board is composed of the region’s most influential leaders, including business owners, nonprofit leaders and policymakers, who work collaboratively to revitalize the waterfront.
“A&G’s investment in the Riverfront Alliance of Delaware County furthers our commitment to deliver quality work that lives at the intersection of creativity and purpose,” said Jason Lewis, senior vice president of public relations at A&G. “We are thrilled to help communicate the efforts of this organization to stimulate community-first development of the waterfront and surrounding areas and are committed to bringing local, regional and national recognition to such a worthy cause.”
About The Riverfront Alliance Delaware County (RADC)
RADC is a consortium of private sector corporations and nonprofit institutions that have come together to develop and implement programs and activities that serve as the catalyst for the physical, economic, and social development of the Delaware County waterfront. Originally established in 1996, The Institute for Economic Development, Inc. (IED) serves as an engine for economic and social development. In September 2020, RADC launched a new Chester Waterfront Master Plan, which serves as a framework to direct the redevelopment of the waterfront, promote better connections to the local community and establish Chester as a regional destination to stay and live for residents, businesses and visitors.
